academic success

Students at Cary Elementary gathered together to design their own unique mandalas, exploring patterns and colors through collaborative floor-work. There’s nothing like a little "circle time" to spark big imagination!

The school maintained a B rating for two consecutive years and increased its growth index from 82.3 to 83.6, meeting growth in both Math and Reading.

Science in Action

Students in our 5th grade science lab explore the relationship between mass and volume. By using digital scales and standard weights, they gain a hands-on understanding of the physical world.

Resulted in the following agreement percentages in staff surveys - staff retention rose from 79% to 91%, leadership support from 55% to 100%, comfort in raising concerns from 55% to 97%, and overall school‑climate agreement from 73% to 100%.

Our 4th-grade students recently stepped back in time without even leaving campus! In connection with their EL Education module on the American Revolution, students participated in an exciting, hands-on "Camp Flintlock" in-house field trip. From learning about 18th-century daily life to interacting with historical artifacts, our young historians got a firsthand look at the experiences of those who lived through the birth of our nation. This immersive day brought their classroom reading to life and left everyone with a deeper understanding of early American history. Thank you to Camp Flintlock for an unforgettable experience!
