Lights! Camera! Action! At 8:30 A.M., fifth grade students assume the responsibility of sharing the morning news with the school. Our students announce the weather, daily menu, student and staff birthdays, other important student and staff information, and lead the school in the Pledge of Allegiance. Featured each week are the Artist of the Week, Music Classes of the Week, Writers' Wall of Fame, POW (Problem of the Week), Fitness and Safety, 4th grade Book Reviews. Featured monthly are the Nurse's Corner and the Counselor's Cue.
Numerous staff members contribute to the success of WCES, including Mr. Stanton, principal; Mrs. Harris, assistant principal; Ms. Masouras, Art teacher; Mrs. Dove, IRT; 4th grade students and teachers, Mrs. Callahan School Nurse, Mrs. Bawden, Guidance Counselor; 5th grade teachers, and students.
Staff members crucial in the production include Mrs. Cavaco, Media Coordinator and Mr. Teachout, Music teacher.
